The Grand Knight’s Corner

Here we are half way through Lent and I am already thinking about chocolate Easter Bunnies…guess who gave up chocolate for Lent!!

This past Monday, March 19 was a special day – the Feast of St. Joseph (okay, all you Irish, I’ll acknowledge March 17^th for St. Patrick!) the patron saint of Italy. He also is the patron saint of fathers. As sometimes the road of fatherhood can be wrought with difficulties, I would remind you to lean on our patron saint to ease that journey and give you the strength to overcome whatever obstacles may come your way.

St. Joseph, pray for us.

Dino and Kathy are a very giving couple to our parish and council. They have devoted numerous hours for many activities that make our parish and our council that much better!

February Knight of the Month

Bob Sirois

Bob is our Council committee chairman and also serves as a Trustee. He has been instrumental in planning and leading numerous activities such as the quarterly Pancake Breakfasts, raffles that add funds for charities, and coordinating our council recognition program (T-shirts, K of C watches, etc.). Bob has always focused on the best interests of the council…thanks, Bob, for always being there for us!

March Family of the Month

Rick and Valerie Johnson    

The Johnson’s have accepted the role as our council’s ProLife coordinators. Their activities with our parish support this role and we thank them for accepting the responsibilities for such an important program! Best wishes in this cause!

March Knight of the Month

Stan Zmorzynski

Stan is always available to assist our council in whatever area we need support. Whether, doing outstanding meeting minutes, serving as a Trustee or any other event that needs to be propped up…our council is very fortunate that we can count on Stan’s support! Thanks, Stan, for always giving your best efforts to our council!!
