The Grand Knight’s Corner

The current population of Frisco is an estimated 40,000, counting those who live and sleep in our “town”. However, if you add those who are Holiday shopping at Stonebriar Centre Mall (especially the day after Thanksgiving), the estimates have us “temporarily populated” at over 100,000!! The shopping crowds and all that needs to be done before December 25^th can make for hectic times.

In the hurry of shopping, baking, putting up decorations, etc., we can easily forget what we are celebrating (no, not Santa’s upcoming arrival)…Christ’s birth!! We also, in our hurry, take the “shortcut” in writing Merry Christmas…Merry Xmas…another way to forget what we are celebrating. Christ is NOT an X!!

The Knights have adopted a motto that speaks to this…”KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS”. Please keep this in mind during this Holyday season!

November Family of the Month

Mauricio and Pam Frye

Besides all the activities the Fryes are involved with due to work, transporting children to school and extracurricular activities, volunteering for community/school functions, and volunteering with church activities, in their “spare” time, they support our council’s programs! “Balancing” a recent list of Saturday activities, Pam worked our Adopt-a-Street pickup while Mauricio tended to the transporting and watching of one their children at a school extracurricular function! Whew!!

November Knight of the Month

Roldan Diaz

As our Inside Guard, Roldan serves an important officers’ position in our council. He performs his duties and partakes of our activities in a quiet manner. Roldan lets his actions speak for him. He is someone that you can rely on…as evidenced by his participation in our November Adopt-a-Street activity. He has recently completed the 4^th Degree exemplification with the first class from our council.
